If you were in our Portland apartment during the first few weeks months then you saw our numerous chairs.
A lot of them need to be updated as I inherited them in college or via the dead woman (her name was Flo). My current desk chair is a vintage wing-back chair that is surprisingly comfortable but decked in a less-than-lovely shade of orange velvet.
Motivated by my daily intake of DIY blog posts for furniture I have grand visions for our apartment this year. Specifically this summer I plan on tackling the upholstery on our three vintage chairs and thank god this video was released by the talented ladies of Spruce Home so I can figure out how to do it (and look cute at the same time).
I can't wait for sunshine and staple guns and now I have three months to find the perfect fabrics.
